Bryce Klontz
Bryce is Stedde Capital’s Managing Director, Health & Wellness, overseeing the firm’s health-focused investments and our portfolio of Stedde-founded healthcare companies.
Prior to joining Stedde Capital, Bryce was the President of BCK Consulting, an early-stage life science advisory firm and a Venture Partner at Varia Ventures. Bryce is an accomplished health tech executive, having built and led technical and commercial teams in the US, Europe and in Asia. Bryce was previously the CEO of New View Surgical, an emerging medical device company developing proprietary imaging and access technologies for minimally invasive surgery (MIS). Prior to New View Surgical, Bryce was the VP, Sales and Marketing at Woven Orthopedics and as Vice President of Commercial Strategy, Emerging Markets at Covidien, PLC he led efforts to build commercial capabilities within the $1.5B+ Asia, Latin America, Emerging Europe, Middle East and Africa geographies. Bryce spent 14 years at Covidien (now Medtronic) in various leadership roles including Marketing Director in both the US and Europe, as well as 3 years as Vice President, Surgical Devices Business Unit in Asia, headquartered in Singapore. He also served as the global post-M&A integration lead for many of Covidien's most impactful acquisitions. Earlier in his career, Bryce played a pivotal role in the global launch of The CO2 Heart Laser System at PLC Medical Systems, Inc.
With over 30 years of global experience in Med Tech and Bio Tech, Bryce is an active advisor for multiple early-stage med tech companies and CEOs. Bryce recently taught a popular Entrepreneurship and Strategy course for the department of Biomedical Engineering at Tufts University. Bryce has a bachelor’s degree in Biology & Physiology from Northwestern University and received his M.B.A. from Boston College’s Carrol School of Management with concentrations in Marketing and Finance.
